Forks Washington’s Vampires of the 1940’s

I happen to know there were bloodsuckers in Forks, Washington, long before those currently popular vampires arrived. My mom told me about them decades ago. She saw them when she used to work in the boarding house during the 1940’s. The ones she saw were much smaller in stature and yet, more real and deadly than any fictional ones in Twilight.

Yes, there they were, snuggled warm in their beds, busily slurping up blood like nobody’s business.  Who knows where they originally came from, but my mother saw them every day at work as she made the beds….bedbugs! Creepy little critters who are a lot more sneaky than any nocturnally fanged Dracula wannabe. Sleep tight! Don’t let the bedbugs bite! Surprised
